My back loves you: Wholepedic organic mattresses made of cotton, wool and latex, the best mattress for your back

Back support comes first

We have been in the back-pain business for over 62 years, helping people with back problems find the right mattress. The most important consideration when you buy a new mattress is back support. Of course you want your mattress to be comfortable, but comfort has to come second to how you feel when you wake up in the morning and how well you slept the night before.

We have three models on display: our 7-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch organic mattresses. Every one is made from just three ingredients: cotton, wool and latex. If you do any research on latex, you will find it is usually rated the most comfortable mattress material in the world, with some of the highest customer satisfaction, too.

Each mattress comes in your choice of Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm or Ultra Firm, and we have a 10-day, $89.00 exchange policy. Because our mattresses are built in two, three or four layers, it is easy to make yours softer or firmer if you need to. If it still isn't right after the second time, we will do it a third time as well.

Our first and foremost goal is to help you get a good night's sleep. That is what we have been doing for 62 years. Please visit us at either of our two factory showrooms, where we have everything on display.

Why an electric adjustable bed?

The natural curves of the spine

May we also recommend our electric adjustable beds? Electric adjustable beds are not hospital beds, but there is a reason hospitals put an adjustable bed in every single room. When you elevate your back and your legs, your body weight is evenly supported. This is called the zero-gravity position.

As you raise your back and legs, you can feel the weight and pressure shift on your muscles, bones and nerves, and you simply stop where you are most comfortable. If you have ever read a book on back pain, it always shows you how to elevate your legs so your lower back can flatten. That is exactly the position an adjustable bed gives you.

Whether you have neck, shoulder, upper-back, lower-back or hip problems, adjustable bed owners will tell you they would never sleep on anything else. Don't miss out: we have the best selection of 2- and 3-motor electric adjustable beds on display.

Available in every size: Twin, Full, Queen, King, Dual Queen and Dual King.

Reset your back every morning

Most yoga positions are too hard to do when you have a bad back, but these are simple ones, and less than 10 minutes a day will do more for your back than almost anything else. The trick is to reverse the pressure on your lower back (just like lying on an adjustable bed with your legs elevated), to flatten the lower back, and to release the muscle tension that contributes to back pain.

Every morning, you are resetting your back. A newborn's spine has none of the inward curves in the lower back and neck that develop as we grow. Enjoy the reset!
